Goals for 2014

The first week of 2014 has flown by and this is the first chance I've had to sit down and think about what I want to achieve in the next 51 weeks.  I've found the idea of making resolutions rather restrictive this year and have decided to settle on a few open goals that allow for more positivity.

REMIND MYSELF THAT THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON
2013 was a challenging year in many aspects and lots of things didn't go to plan.  This year I want to accept that things won't always be perfect and if something hasn't worked out how I imagined, then there's probably a good reason why.  Something better will be around the next corner.

BE CREATIVE
Over the past 12 months, I've seen myself become more creative by the day and I've felt happier for it.  Last year I wanted to paint more.  I did produce a series of paintings but kept them mostly hidden from anyone else and my paints found their way back underneath my bed.  I then produced crochet garlands for my shop, Isobelle's Pantry and felt more confident with sharing these on the internet.  This year, I want to continue to make things that I feel proud of.  And if I feel OK with sharing them, then that's a bonus!
